The Automatic Drill system immediately
reacts to changes in the rock. The system
monitors the drilling resistance and when
the resistance grows it automatically
readjusts the drilling parameters. This
feature makes the holes straighter and
readuces the drill tool wear.
Due to the Automatic Drill system the
drilling efficiency has incerased,
especially when drilling in fragmented
rock. No special professional skill is
required anymore to obtain straight
holes.
The can open technique used in the Rock
Drill attachments together with the
Automatic Drill system allow various
adjustments, such as the fine-tuning of
pressure during drilling, preset pressure
during drilling, preset pressure values for
different holes, automatic stop defined by
preset drill depth, various data readouts,
remote maintenance, real-time reporting
on the drilling process, etc. The system is
even capable to control itself. |

Rock Drill Advantages

| Rock Drill represents an absolutely new and innovative drilling concept. It
is based on the principle of attaching the unit as an accessory to the
excavator, which allows it to use the existing hydraulic system it takes
less than five minutes to change the bucket for the drilling unit.
The benefit of using Rock Drill is more than obvious. The same excavator
can do different tasks like drilling digging, loading, etc. Only one operator
is needed to do all this, since all models are equipped with the Auto Drill
automatic drilling system.
One Rock Drill unit can be used on many excavators, i.e. only the drill
attachment is moved from one site to another.
With the help of Rock Drill it is posible to drill more efficiently due to the
wide working radius and the good maneuverability of the excavator.
Rock Drill control panel is installed inside the excavator cabil. The
integrated graphics monitor connected to the console is functional and
very convenient in use. The control panel also includes a divice to monitor
the drilling depth and angle. The drilling data can be changed during
drilling.
All models can be equipped with a laser, which allows drilling of all holes
at the same depth.
Rock Drill series includes one size coveing the hole diameters from 27-45
mm. The use of the optional rod changer allows drillingholes upto 25
